IT for Business Consultant & Director
Stephen Johnson has led LAN Support, a managed IT services provider, since 1996. With over 30 years of experience in IT, he began his career in the early 1990s, progressing into senior account management roles.
He founded LAN Support with a focus on transparent service delivery and genuine client value, and these principles continue to guide the business today. Over the following years, he built a strong reputation supporting UK law firms with secure, compliant IT systems for fast-paced, regulated environments.
In 2013, he established a partnership with Egnyte. LAN Support is now the UK’s number one Egnyte partner and a recipient of the Egnyte Spark Award for excellence in secure, compliant data solutions.
LAN Support holds Cyber Essentials Plus certification and works with CyberSmart to help clients achieve recognised cybersecurity standards. Stephen regularly advises SMEs on cybersecurity, compliance, and IT strategy, particularly within regulated industries including legal and financial services.
Today, he leads the company with a focus on improving productivity, strengthening cyber resilience, and delivering predictable IT costs for SMEs across London and the South East.
